Those ever protective National Trust people forbade taking internal shots which is a shame because the design of the internal spaces is stunning. CRM clearly worked from the inside out and windows which appear to be randomly sized and placed externally work perfectly inside.

The design of the stair and the spaces around is particularly effective. A gentle climb, seats and resting places, darkness into light - a delightful transition.
