Urban design is the Art of Making Places
It is a special amalgamation of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Town Planning, working together with Artists, Engineers and other professionals to shape the physical setting for life in our cities, towns and villages.
Urban design is a key to making places that are successful both socially and economically, places that are good to live in, and attractive to visit.
Having worked on a number of large housing developments I have experience in researching and analysing places and people, designing built spaces, and understanding the context of the places and the people who use them. My role is to coordinate the design of buildings, groups of buildings, spaces and landscapes inorder to create places that have identity and purpose.
